Software developer Open to work

I build software by directing AI, and I ship it.

What I'm good at is directing AI to build software and shipping it. I decide what to build, set the limits it has to work inside, and check every change before it's kept. Right now I'm building Rift, a coding app where the AI does the typing and you stay the reviewer. It's open source, so you can download it and run it today, or read every line of it. I started out running game servers and taught myself the rest.

What I'm building
Rift, EXFIL, and this site
  • Building Rift, a desktop app for coding with AI. The AI reads your code and can run git for you, there's a web browser built in, and it updates itself. You set how much it can do on its own. It's open source, has 899 tests, and ships as a public download (v0.148). I designed and directed the whole build myself, setting the overall design and the AI's limits, then reviewing every change it made. I did it nights and weekends around a factory job until January 2026, and full-time since.
  • Built EXFIL, my first shipped project. It's a small Windows app that lives in your taskbar tray and retunes your screen's color for each app you open. It also shows your frame rate and PC stats while you game. I shipped the first version in C# and .NET 8, then rebuilt it from scratch in Rust once I'd learned enough to do it right. Both versions are public, and the Rust one is free to download and updates itself.
  • I work across the whole stack: SvelteKit and TypeScript for the part you see, Python, FastAPI, and Rust behind it, Linux to put it online. The AI writes the code and I direct it.
Jul 2025 to Jan 2026
Production / Assembly
Strong Manufacturing
  • Started in yard work and facility cleaning, then got moved up to the assembly line within a few months. Company-wide cuts ended the role in Jan 2026.
2023 to Mar 2025
Heavy equipment operator · Landfill operations
S&L Contracting LLC, Twin Rivers Paper Mill (now American Kraft)
  • Ran heavy equipment and handled landfill operations on site at a working paper mill. I showed up, did it right, and kept it safe for about two years. The contract ended in March 2025.
  • I was responsible every day for running equipment safely on a live industrial site. It's not the kind of job you can fake your way through.
2022 to early 2025
FiveM & RedM server operator
Self-employed
  • This is where I started. I got in by modifying game files in 2022, then came back in early 2023 and hosted my own server. It didn't last — I didn't know how to optimize or manage it yet, and a live server tells you that fast. That lesson stuck.
  • I spent the next two years developing for other FiveM and RedM communities alongside full-time work: configuring resources, modifying Lua, running a MySQL database, and admining both Windows and Linux. People notice the second anything breaks, so I learned to fix fast.
  • Wound down in early 2025 to focus on building software full-time.

If you're building with AI, let's talk.

I'm looking for a role building software, whether that's software engineering, developer tools, or AI-focused product work. Remote works. So does in person around Little Rock, Pine Bluff, and Central Arkansas, and I'm open to relocating for the right team. If you're trying to figure out how to ship with AI, that's the kind of work I'm best at.
